Very nice little Cafe with good pastries and breakfast. We tried the Breakfast Bowl which was awesome and the Pulaski Omelette. The food looked so good I forgot to take pictures! The macarons are well made and the thumbprint cookies were delicious.

An excellent little indoor cafe. Styled and operated as a traditional European cafe, with a smaller but specialized menu. My wife and I enjoyed a Saturday morning breakfast. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Prices were slightly higher than a typical diner but with reason. The sausage gravy breakfast bowl, chocolate croissant, white chocolate raspberry espresso latte, and cold brew coffee, all shared the taste of properly prepared, fresh, quality ingredients. I highly recommend anyone willing to break from their normal routine or those looking to start one, to gives Janine's a try.

Janina is a delight and a culinary master. Her treats are elegant and beautiful to look at, but the really impressive part is how utterly delicious they are. I've never had the chance to eat at the cafe, but I am sure that it is just as fantastic.

Best cakes ever. That was the starting of my relationship with this small Polish bakery/Cafe. The name is absolutely correct, they have "Fine Desserts" and we have enjoyed our brunches and breakfasts there along with the mouthwatering cakes Janina has made for my kids Birthday party and other occasions. I recommend everyone to try Janinas'.

Everything I've had here has been delicious! You can't go wrong. The desserts are wonderful and both breakfast and lunch is packed with great options and good food.

This place is an underrated gem. They offer hand-crafted desserts made daily by Janina, a local pastry chef, in addition to lunch and fondue nights. On top of all this, they offer seasonal and regular hot, iced, and frozen coffee/cafe menu beverages. It's right on Leader Heights road, which is easily accessible from I-83, and the staff are lovely. If I could give more stars, I would.

The food here is always really good! Their pastry items are also amazing. Have had both breakfast and lunch here and have never been disappointed.

Hidden Gem! Met friends for lunch and had wonderful fare! Creative and tasty brunch offerings. Fabulous coffees and teas. Tucked away in the back corner, but definitely worth seeking out!

I've been going to janinas for quite a while, I've never had a bad experience. Quite literally everything I've purchased from her is the best tasting sweets ever. I finally got around to writing this review when she made the rasberry cake for my wedding, a cake ive enjoyed many times. It was phenomenal, looked beautiful, and was quite a hit with my guests. I would go so far as to say she's one of the best bakers in the U.S Her macarons are the best ive ever had. You owe it to yourself to go to this bakery and try EVERYTHING. For as long as she is in business, I will be a regular customer at this fine establishment.

Ordered a bunch of desserts on a Tuesday afternoon to pick up Saturday morning. The attendant was very kind in helping me complete an order, as I made several changes while trying to make up my mind! The Chef able to prepare a dairy free dessert to accommodate a guest with an allergy. Everyone loved the desserts! I particularly loved that the desserts were not overly sweet. We had a chocolate mousse cake, cooked fruit tarts, fresh fruit tarts and macarons. Everything was well executed and clearly labeled. Thank you!

Evey dessert, croissant and cookie we've tried have been exceptional. The coffee mocha is perfect!

A bit pricey but nice to have a local bakery carry a few gluten free items. Being very sensitive to any form of cross contamination, I haven't been cross contaminated here and bakeries are some of the easiest places for that to occur.

Very good veggie omelette and excellent coffee. Get the turkey sausage! The chocolate chip cookie was also very good. Croissants sold out very early, unfortunately, so call ahead to order them.

Janina's is my favorite bakery/cafe in York, and the surrounding area. The desserts are to die for, it feels like you made the trip to Europe and stopped in some perfect little shop that only the locals know about. The service is excellent, very friendly, and they actually remember you! After getting to know Janina's from picking up desserts and baked goods, we decided to have our wedding reception there, we could not have asked for more. They handled very detail as though it was their own family's reception. I can't recommend them highly enough, they are simply, the best!

To die for cakes! Cute little cafe area with really good food. You can hang out on the couch there and drink your coffee. Love it! The service is a little slow but it's worth the wait.

I enjoy coming here for their great deserts and other Polish cuisine. My wife and the owner always talk to each other when we visit there. The biggest issue is the price. This place is a little pricey with the food and, thus, not a weekly visit as we wish we could have. But otherwise everything is delicious and I would recommend coming here any day.

Janina's cakes are fabulous! Not only do they look beautiful, they taste amazing. I travel from Baltimore for each occasion for her special cakes. My daughter was thrilled with her candy lane themed cake complete with oversized lollipops! This is my favorite bakery- hands down.

Literally the best macarons we’ve ever had outside of France (inc. NYC!). We’ve tried cakes, pastries, breakfast (fresh baked waffles), etc. All of it is above-average in taste (doesn’t just look pretty).

Janina's is truly a gem in York. I have been going there for years and their breakfast and lunch choices are unique and delicious. But perhaps best of all is dessert items! Oh my, where do I start?? Everything is fantastic but my favorite are the macarons. I have also ordered cakes for special occasions and they are delicious and the decorating done by Janina transforms each one into a work-of-art. Absolute show-stoppers!

I found Janina's purely by accident while I was getting gas next door. I actually hadn't had coffee or eaten this morning so thought I would check it out.Both the latte I had and the croissant were simply delicious!!!Love to The View of the mountains, the Ambiance, the service and the food. I will definitely be back to try brunch and breakfast.

I love Janina's and all of the lovely people who work there! My husband and I visit often for lunch, and I pop in to a grab a coffee on the go when I have an early start to my day. The food, pastries, and desserts are always on point and fresh, and I'm treated as a friend whenever I go in. I'm also super excited about the Saturday Polish dinners that will now happen weekly.

I went to Janina's to see if they could bake a battenberg cake for my wife's birthday. I was VERY pleased with the end result. The cake was nicely decorated and very tasty. I will definitely be returning in the future for my bakery needs.

Got a birthday cake for my wife here. Great service and the cake was awesome. Also picked up some cookies and they were great as well. Highly recommended, great service, great food and very nice people.
